NuCat strives to make the referral process as easy as possible for our referring vets and their staff. We have had personal experience in general practice ourselves, and we know you have a full plate. We’re here to help! If you feel like you have a hyperthyroid cat that would be a candidate for radioactive iodine, please feel free to send records or call us and we will be glad to assist you in determining if your patient is a good candidate. We can also give you recommendations and a timeline for performing any prerequisites your patient may need prior to treatment at NuCat. If your client has questions or concerns about any aspect of treatment, we’ll be more than happy to speak with them too.

 

We are here for you and your patient after treatment as well. Please send follow- up reports and labs to us 30 and 90 days after treatment. Each follow-up is reviewed by Dr. Heaton, and he will email or call with his thoughts on the patient’s progress. And again, we are always a call away if your team needs additional assistance.
