We're Different.
Yes, there are other facilities offering radioiodine treatment in Florida, but not like NuCat. Each patient is unique, and so is our approach to their care. Our treatment dosages are specifically designed for each individual; we do not use a one-size-fits-all approach. We are a family-owned facility that only treats hyperthyroid cats. We are not part of a hospital, general practice, or corporation. We truly have one focus, and we put our heart into it.
We have Experience.
Our facility might be new, but we've got more than 40 years of experience in veterinary care together. We've devoted ten years combined to treating feline hyperthyroidism with radioiodine, earning the trust of many referring facilities, doctors, and clients along the way (including several veterinarians’ own pets!). Dr. Heaton has personally treated over 1,200 hyperthyroid cats with radioiodine with a 98.8% success rate.
